Mairtin, a native of Cork, Ireland, is a singer, bodhran player, and two time Irish national storytelling champion.
In addition to his successful solo career, he is also the lead singer of The Fuchsia Band and an actor - he appeared in the film The Wind that Shakes the Barley and also sang the film's spellbinding song Oro Se do Bheatha.

3rd Annual Celtic Camp 2008
Experience an exciting week of Celtic Camp with Hill Irish Dance School. Boys and girls ages 6 to 12 will explore the arts and traditions of Ireland, Scotland and Wales during five fun-packed days. Students will master several Celtic dances and songs, learn to play the penny whistle, participate in drama based on Celtic folklore, and enjoy a multitude of stories and crafts. Each year we feature new tunes, stories, crafts, and dances. Guest artists will enrich the camp experience. Camp culminates in a performance for family and friends, showcasing the songs and dances learned throughout the week. Prior music or dance experience is not required. Celtic Camp is an unforgettable experience for all!

Location: First Unitarian Church, NW 13 & Dewey, Oklahoma City.
Schedule: Mornings only or Full Day Camp, before and after care available.

Celtic Camp 2008 is made possible in part by donations from individual sponsors and Irish Arts Oklahoma, a nonprofit 501(C) 3 organization. Three scholarships are available.
